U.S. Training Faculty

Nancy graduated from Florida International University in 1983 with a B.S. in Occupational Therapy.  Nancy’s experience with special needs children includes over 27 years in private outpatient, school based and “natural environment” settings.  She is president of Occuplay, Inc. a privately owned pediatric company providing OT services in NE Florida.

She is a Certified Provider of The Listening Program®, a Tomatis Consultant, as well as a former NDTA, Inc. pediatric OT instructor with advanced training in the Treatment of the Baby. Nancy realizes the importance of the sensory systems and how auditory stimulation with bone conduction is a critical piece in organizing the sensory systems and maximizing treatment outcomes.

Nancy has taught numerous courses throughout the US with emphasis on Pediatric NDT/SI and Baby Treatment.  In addition, Nancy is certified in Integrative Yoga Therapy, teaching Adapted Yoga classes for children with special needs as well as to OT/PT graduate students at the University of St. Augustine. Her passion remains strong for her teachings and for the treatment of the “whole” child, as well as understanding and addressing the needs of the “whole” family.
