FREE Teleseminars

You can now listen in on FREE Teleseminars each month! Our providers have an opportunity to listen in on their own series, which began several months ago and last month Don Campbell and Alex began a series for everyone, based on their book. If you attend either series live you can listen by phone or online if you’d prefer. There are question and answer periods at the end, and if there is a question you really, really want to ask, please do call in, as well as submitting the question in advance. You will have the opportunity to suggest topics when you register as well.

On November 9th at 8:00 PM EST Listen to Don Campbell and Alex Doman discuss sound in public and in the workplace and discover how getting the right sounds in your workplace can make you and your family happier and healthier through sound brain fitness. Provider Teleseminar
On November 15th the next Provider Teleseminar will be a discussion about integrating The Listening Program® with Interactive Metronome, with our special guest speaker April Christopherson. Our ABT providers need to register in advance. Please log in on the provider support page on the Advanced Brain website to do so http://advancedbrain.com/seminar-reg.html .

If you ever have to miss listening to any of the live Teleseminars, they will be available on their respective websites within a few days after the events each month.

New International Representatives

We are pleased to announce that we have recently added two new International Representatives to represent Advanced Brain, training and support providers in their countries. Yumiko Nakajima previously had a Tomatis Center in Nagano, Japan , survived the earthquake and has held her first two trainings already. Olga Georgieva is a Master Speech Language Pathologist in Sofia, Bulgaria, and just held the first provider training in Bulgaria in September. Both are extremely knowledgeable, and we are so pleased they are partnering with us to expand our reach in Japan and Bulgaria. Welcome!

abt_anniversary On October 18, 1998 Alex Doman filed the papers to start Advanced Brain Technologies, with the mission of creating products that would help people reach their fullest potential. Of course The Listening Program® (TLP) was a big part of that original vision: creating an effective music listening therapy that could be brought within the reach of many more families by developing TLP as a home-based program.

We continue to develop new products and services that fulfill our mission which has evolved to focus on sound brain fitness. The possibilities to reach more people continue to expand with the growth of technology. Thanks for your support: the first thirteen years have been exciting and we expect no less from the next thirteen!

It has been a tremendously exciting few weeks since Healing at the Speed Of Sound® was released! The book went into a second printing the day after the release, which is a good indication of how the subject has captured the imagination of the public. So much is new that we encourage you to visit the book website http://www.healingatthespeedofsound.com/index.jsp now to get caught up on all the latest news on Alex and Don’s media appearances and more. We will include new interviews, articles, etc. here as soon as possible.

T_hats_sept You should have received your books and CDs if you ordered them from us, and we really encourage your feedback. Please rate and review them on Amazon and Barnes and Noble. We are also very interested in what version you purchased, since this is one of the first times a book has been made available in so many formats; hardcover, audiobook, eBook, and enhanced eBook. We’ve heard comments from quite a few of you that purchased the book in more than one format so that you can more easily refer to it; something we were really pleased to hear. There is a good deal of information available, and the book is designed to be used as an ongoing resource.

Don’t forget to share the site with family, friends, and clients, as well as support groups you may belong to. You are still among a minority that has realized how important healthy sound can be, and that the right music based listening therapy can help so many, with a wide variety of needs. This book was written so that many more will begin to realize the same things and investigate the many ways that good sound and music can help.
