The Listening Program Introductiontlplogo-White

The Listening Program® (TLP) is a music listening therapy that provides engaging brain stimulation to improve performance in school, work and life. Developmental auditory therapy is provided from listening to beautiful psychoacoustically modified classical music through headphones, which trains the brain to process sound more efficiently.

This leads to improvements in many areas including:

  • Learning
  • Attention
  • Communication
  • Reading
  • Listening
  • Sensory Processing
  • Social Engagement
  • Behavior
  • Self Regulation
  • Musical Ability
  • Brain Fitness
  • Daily Living
  •

Listening schedules are five days per week, 15-30 minutes each listening session. The program length is typically five months and is individualized to meet the needs and goals of each listener. Listening can be done for shorter and longer periods. In addition, certain programs can be provided through speakers when a person cannot tolerate headphones. This complementary method can be integrated into academic and therapeutic programs in home, school and clinic.
