Study: Study to Investigate the Efficacy of Sound Based Intervention to Improve Toilet Training Outcomes
Investigators: The Chief investigator is June Rogers MBE, Director of PromoCon, Disabled Living NW. Her Collaborating Partners are Liverpool Primary Care Trust Research and Development Department and Gill Pearl SLT, of PromoCon.
Summary: The purpose of this pilot study is to investigate the efficacy of sound based intervention to improve toilet training outcomes in children with ‘special needs’ as a precursor to a larger randomized study. The intervention is The Listening Program® Level One with Bone Conduction.
The study is being funded by the Liverpool NHS Primary Care Trust Research Department with support from the ABT Foundation.
