Announcing a new research study starting at Idaho State University looking at the efficacy of using The Listening Program from Advanced Brain Technologies to reduce auditory over-sensitivity in children with Autism Spectrum Disorders. 
 
Study: Exploring the effectiveness of The Listening Program (TLP), a sound-based intervention, on the reduction of auditory sensory over-responsiveness in children with Autism Spectrum Disorders

Research Institution: Idaho State University, Department of Physical and Occupational Therapy in Pocatello, Idaho.

Summary: The purpose of this study is to determine if a 20-week sound-based auditory stimulation method reduces auditory sensory over-responsiveness in children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders using routine audiological testing, examiner behavioral observations, and parent/caregiver questionnaires.

Study Size: 8 Participants             Study Design: ABAB

Status: Soliciting participants directly from the Pocatello Idaho area.
