On Tuesday, December 16th there was a special event; Autism Twitter Day, to promote positive autism awareness. This occurred on Twitter (www.twitter.com). Alex Doman was a panelist, and provided information and answered questions related to auditory processing. This was a tremendous opportunity to educate those who knew little about autism, and to assist families who may be struggling with a variety of related issues.

This event was open to Twitter members, especially those who are members of the autism community, whether it was a parent, sibling or relative. Anyone who belonged to Twitter could take part to learn more about autism spectrum disorders, or share experiences, information and websites.

We hope you joined in, whether it was just to read the conversations or to participate.
